The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is currently recruiting a Programme Manager for its new Regional Project on Peace and Security in the MENA Region. The new Regional Project on Peace and Security in the MENA Region aims at finding solutions to regional conflicts by means of a constructive dialogue among stakeholders. The project focuses on three pillars: Discussing the changing role of Iran, developing peace and security strategies in order to manage and solve national and regional conflicts, and enhancing a democratic security sector governance.
Due to the nature of the project, FES is welcoming applications from German nationals. Other nationalities might be considered. The Project is based in Beirut / Lebanon. The work of the Programme Manager requires extensive traveling to Iran and other countries of the region, as well as to Germany and other international conference venues. The position is open as of 15 September 2018. The first project cycle is limited to 31 December 2021.
